| Grecia has a reputation for being the "cleanest city in Latin America". Climate in the mountains is 68-82 degrees F the entire year. No monkeys here, but flocks of parrots or parakeets fly over constantly and butterflies swarm by the thousands. Grecia is still rural and yet close enough to be convenient. During harvest season tractors roam the back roads with their loads of coffee beans and sugar cane. Crime in this area is still low and yet the amenities are all here - hospitals, medical, dentists, veterinaries, et. al. |

The neighbors still watch out for each other. We have lived here for two years now and really love this quaint city up in the mountains. Stop by the coffee shop for your latte or mocha in the morning and come back at night for dinner at 'Cass de Miguel'. |

Another great thing about Grecia are your proximity to other great cities like Sarchi, Naranjo, Palmares, San Ramon and Atenas. - All are different... but ALL feature absolutely gorgeous views and even have different types of climates. You will know when you find your ideal property. |
